Career & Technical Education (CTE) prepares students of all ages for the workforce by offering training classes that teach the technical and soft skills needed for in-demand careers.

Unlike traditional educational settings, CTE classes take place in an environment that reflects actual working situations.

CTE programs currently include in-demand fields such as:

Learn more about Automotive

Learn more about Culinary

Learn more about Electrical

To Enroll

Interested students can visit our office on 30 Hart Street on  Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to register for a CTE course. All students must spend 40 hours in our GED program before beginning their CTE program.

All CTE programs have an industry-specific advisory board consisting of local employers that assist CTE programs in providing up-to-date industry information and developing CTE training curriculum. Advisory boards serve as a direct link for students to the workforce and ensure that CTE training is aligned with current industry workforce demands.
