About Us
OACES is Rochester’s premier training center for adult and career education services, a division of the Rochester City School District.
OACES offers students continuing adult education, career and technical education, and more. Serving the greater Rochester region, our students come from all walks of life. Classes are offered both day and evenings to work around your schedule. Financial assistance is available for qualifying students.
Adult Education
Students can work towards their High School Equivalency Degree (GED) or take classes to improve their existing education. OACES also offers classes for students to improve the English language skills.
Career & Technical Education
Career & Technical Education (CTE) prepares students of all ages for the workforce by offering training classes that teach the technical and soft skills needed for in-demand careers. Unlike traditional educational settings, CTE classes take place in an environment that reflects actual working situations.
OACES in the Community
OACES students participate in several programs that integrate with the greater Rochester community.
