OACES provides a High School Equivalency Diploma (GED) Program focused on preparation for the high school equivalency exam.
The GED Program includes diagnostic services as well as a core curriculum and career counseling. We offer group and individualized instruction in math, social studies, science, writing, and reading. Students are required to take a reading and math entrance test and are assigned to classes according to reading levels.
To enroll in the GED Program:
Visit OACES at 30 Hart Street, Rochester and go to Room 205
Hours: Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m.
Students should arrive no later than 9:30 a.m.
Please bring two forms of ID and your Social Security card, if you have one.
If you are 21 years old or older, please bring a state-issued ID card and your Social Security card. If you are under 21 years old, please bring a state-issued ID card, your Social Security card, your birth certificate, and a drop letter from your last high school.
