I have been a student at OACES for 1 week. I chose this program because I need to learn English so that I can have the possibility to finish my career in nursing and to work as a nurse. It has been shocking because in the week that I have been here I have learned many things in English that I did not know and I hope to continue learning more.

I’ve always worked very hard at every job I had but the companies couldn’t promote me or give me more hours. I want a better job so that I can support my family. For 45 years I spoke Arabic. I learned English in school but because I did not use it, it got worse. A friend told me about OACES so I went there. In fact, I found more than she told me about. I have met people from different countries and we all learn English together. I also am getting general information about American History. I am so thankful.
