Family C.A.R.E.E.R.S.
Family C.A.R.E.E.R.S. (Community and Adults in Rochester Employment and Education Resource System) is a combined Family Literacy & Workforce Development program running in select Rochester City School District elementary schools.  Parents attend school with their children and participate in literacy activities, adult education, and are partnered with a school employee mentor in a one-on-one relationship to gain valuable work skills. Parents gain literacy and job skills which allow them to move towards economic self-sufficiency.
