What is it?
You will do real work in one of the OACES Work Experience Micro-Enterprises, practicing good work habits and showing what you can do. You may need this to keep your public assistance. These placements will help you with speaking English, reading and math
What do I do?
Expect hands on training at your Work Experience. The Work Experience and your Adult Education class run every day from 8AM to 4:30PM. You can participate in Work Experience for up to 50 weeks
How can I be successful?
To be successful you must go to your Work Experience and other classes consistently. Focus on your work while you are here which means leaving your problems at the door and following the Rochester City School District Code of Conduct.
How do I know I have been successful?
Meeting your goals means being ready to get a paying job. Your next step will be OACES Employment Services or Career & Technical Education.
